About this voyage
Mountain-ringed Resurrection Bay in Seward is the starting point for this mesmerizing voyage, which travels southwards down the dramatic west coast of Alaska and Canada. Have your cameras ready as we cruise past the awe-inspiring Hubbard Glacier, where colossal ice chunks calve into the sea. Then we have two stops where you can fully explore the wilderness: Haines, known as “the valley of the eagles”, and Icy Strait Point, home to the world's largest ziprider and other thrill-inducing activities. Next is Sitka, Alaska's original capital with a fascinating Russian heritage, and Ketchikan, home to the world's largest collection of 19th-century totem poles and where houses built on stilts over the water. Finally, we enter Canadian waters, following the breathtaking Seymour Narrows, part of the legendary Inside Passage, down to Vancouver, where our journey ends.
