About this voyage
Embark on an epic 19-night voyage that sets sail from the British maritime hub of Portsmouth, before crossing the English Channel to Zeebrugge, gateway to Belgium's Golden Age gems. A day at sea brings us to bonnie Scotland, starting in the fairytale city of Edinburgh and making our way to Aberdeen, with its world-class golf courses and historic castles. Next is the Shetland town of Lerwick, for dramatic coastlines and a dram or two, before we sail through the glacier-edged waters of Nordfjord in Norway. We explore the mountain-fringed towns of Bodo and Leknes, coming next to Honningsvag, where the North Cape (Nordkapp) teems with puffins and cormorants; Hammerfest, land of the midnight sun; and Tromso, gateway to the Arctic. Take time to catch your breath with two relaxing days at sea, before arriving at the quaint Icelandic fishing harbors of Siglufjordur and Patreksfjordur. Two days in Reykjavik, the world’s northernmost capital city, complete our journey.
