About this voyage
Enjoy a relaxing day at sea before we arrive at Cozumel, Mexico, from where you can explore the Mayan ruins at Tulum. There are more Mayan marvels in Belize City, while Santo Tomás in Guatemala has a Spanish fort to discover. Now to Roatán Island, off the coast of Honduras, home to the biggest barrier reef in the Western hemisphere, before another day at sea delivers us to Puerto Limón in Costa Rica for a flavorful mix of Caribbean and Creole cuisine. We reach South America at the Spanish colonial showcase of Cartagena before the thrilling experience of traveling along the world-famous Panama Canal to Fuerte Amador. We make two stops in Ecuador, first at Manta, to stroll along the malecón, and then Guayaquil – look out for iguanas in the Parque Seminario – and then arrive in Peru at Salaverry before our voyage concludes with an overnight in Callao, gateway to the capital, Lima.
