Perfect for adventurers of all ages, this Juneau icefield excursion combines breathtaking aerial views with the opportunity to experience a glacier up close. Your adventure begins at the heliport, where the friendly ground crew will help you board your helicopter. As you lift off, your experienced pilot will point out the stunning scenery below, from enormous ice formations and deep blue crevasses to glistening rivers of ice. Fly over the spectacular rock formations and icefalls of the Juneau Icefield as you make your way toward Herbert Glacier. Along the way, take in sweeping views of Alaska's rugged wilderness and enjoy a perspective that can only be experienced from the air. After landing on Herbert Glacier, you'll join a dedicated glacier guide for approximately 35 to 40 minutes of exploration on the ice. Your guide will share insights into the glacier's natural features and history, helping you gain a deeper appreciation for this extraordinary landscape. Take in the surrounding beauty, capture memorable photos, and enjoy the experience of standing on one of Alaska's magnificent glaciers. Following your guided glacier experience, you'll board the helicopter for the return flight to the heliport. Experience the extraordinary beauty of the Juneau Icefield from above and on the ice during this unforgettable Alaskan adventure. Please note: Efforts are made to seat families and parties together in the same helicopter; however, seating cannot be guaranteed. Final arrangements are based on weight and balance requirements as well as the overall makeup of the flight, which is determined at check-in once all guests have been weighed. If a party is split between multiple helicopters, the glacier landing will still take place together.
