Experience overview

Embark on a private adventure through the scenic landscapes and rich cultural history of Ketchikan, Alaska. Tailored exclusively for your group, this tour guarantees that your family and friends will be the only guests in a comfortable, spacious tour van, offering a personalized and relaxed experience. With the flexibility to set your own pace, you can enjoy the natural beauty of Ketchikan without feeling rushed. Experience the thrill of wildlife with the chance to see bears, bald eagles, salmon, and seals! This open grassy field and creek attract a variety of wildlife to this location. The main attraction is always the bears! Please keep in mind that sighting a bear is not guaranteed, but we make every effort possible for our guests to see one. Discover the diverse tide pools along the coastal Inside Passage, where you may spot purple and orange starfish, crabs, sea anemones, sea urchins, sea cucumbers, and more! There's also a chance to see eagles in the trees, seals in the ocean, and, with a little luck, a whale passing through. The variety of wildlife will change with the tide levels. When the season is right, you can even pick and enjoy wild edible berries in this rocky and sandy terrain. Step out of the van and find yourself just moments away from a breathtaking waterfall surrounded by lush rainforest. Take in the sights and sounds of this natural wonder just steps from exiting the van. You can even take a step inside the lush rainforest for more awe-inspiring views of this natural beauty. The Herring Bay Village features a Native Totem Park, and Bifrost Blacksmithing. Take a stroll through the Native Totem Park, where a knowledgeable guide will share captivating stories that bring these magnificent works of art to life. Finally, visit Bifrost Blacksmithing, where experienced blacksmiths Jake and Joron share the process of hand-forging their unique knives made from recycled steel and Sitka black-tailed deer antlers. Please Note: A $10 entry fee per person grants access to Totem Park. This fee is not included in the tour price. The vehicle seats up to 11 guests. If your group is at or near this limit, please consider the overall seating space and comfort needs of your group to ensure everyone has adequate room.
