Private Full Day Guided Sightseeing Transfer from Whittier Cruise Port to Anchorage

Experience overview

Turn your disembarkation day into an epic land adventure with a private cruise transfer from Whittier to Anchorage that packs glaciers, wildlife, and city sights into one seamless journey. This customizable full-day tour starts right at Whittier Cruise Port--the tiny "secret harbor" famed for its deep fjords and WWII-era tunnel--and ends with doorstep drop-off at your Anchorage hotel or airport. Meet your expert guide, load your luggage, and roll through the Anton Anderson Memorial Tunnel, the longest combined rail-road tunnel in North America. On the other side lies Portage Valley, a glacier-carved wonderland where hanging ice fields and mirror-clear lakes beg for photos that will light up your social feed and boost your vacation bragging rights. As you hug the dramatic shoreline of Turnagain Arm, keep your camera ready for bald eagles, playful otters, and, on lucky tides, surfacing beluga whales. A quick stop at storied Beluga Point lets you soak in panoramic mountain views before heading to the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center, where rescued bears, moose, and wood bison offer close-up encounters without the zoom lens struggle. Next, the alpine resort town of Girdwood invites you to grab lunch, browse artisan shops, or ride the optional Alyeska Aerial Tram for 360-degree glacier vistas. Throughout the drive, your guide shares insider commentary and serves locally sourced snacks so you stay energized without wasting precious sightseeing minutes. Arriving in Anchorage, you'll enjoy a narrated overview of downtown hot spots--Ship Creek's salmon runs, vibrant Fourth Avenue boutiques, and a craft-brewery corridor--so you know exactly where to eat, sip, and shop later. The tour price covers a private vehicle, a professional guide, port pickup, narrated sightseeing, a light snack, and Anchorage drop-off; tram tickets and lunch are a la carte, letting you control both budget and pace. Reserve early to secure this top-rated shore excursion and transform necessary transportation into an unforgettable slice of Alaska--all in under eight adventure-packed hours and comfortably within cruise disembark schedules.
