Experience overview
Experience an exhilarating journey through nature as you zipline over waterfalls on your next stop in the breathtaking port of Tauranga, New Zealand. This is your ticket to immersing yourself in the native flora and fauna and diving deep into the local history with a zipline tour like no other. Our friendly drivers will collect you from port and whisk you away to the zipline base in Rotorua, situated just an hour's drive away. Upon arrival, before you've hopped onto your first 146m zipline, you'll gain insights into the rich history of the Okere area and learn the safety dos and don'ts of ziplining. The thrill intensifies as you zip across scenic waterfalls and land on iwi territory, witnessing unique changes in the landscape. Take this opportunity to leave your mark on our Whakapakoko Rakau (Godstick) and marvel at the famous 7m Tutea Falls. A short walk later, feel your pulse quicken as you approach our swing bridge--the part that leaves many guests breathless. Can't muster the courage to walk across? No problem! You can zip your way over before savoring a warm cup of local Kawakawa tea at the Whare, experiencing the multitude of its health benefits first-hand. Then, take a moment to inscribe your name on a token, which will find its permanent home tied to a tree on the Kaituna riverbanks. Once refreshed, get ready for the dual zipline--a race to the finish that even allows for a rematch if we're ahead of schedule! The final zipline, a relatively flat 40m stretch, offers the thrilling possibility of turning your worldview upside down--quite literally! From there, a short walk and a quick 2-minute drive will take you back to the base. This thrilling ziplining falls experience promises a day filled with adrenaline, education, and close encounters with New Zealand's natural beauty.
