Experience overview
If you're up for a wild White-Water Kayaking Excursion, we can promise that the river will be up for you! After meeting your driver on the pier for your Falmouth port tour, you make your way to the river, approximately 25 minutes away. After instructions from your guide, you and your co-captain board your inflatable kayak and enter the fast-flowing water. The swift currents carry your kayak downstream, challenging you to paddle confidently through numerous areas of exciting white-water rapids and picturesque river pools. You will paddle through tricky twists and turns. The river rapids are rated class 1 and class 2 (easy to moderate), and the river flow is rated class 3 (swift-moving water). Recent weather conditions can affect the river flow and level. The river journey is approximately 45 minutes, depending on the current, which can at times be quite strong. The river currents carry your kayak over one final cascade as you pass under an old colonial stone bridge and head towards the Caribbean Sea, where you will paddle your kayak to a private beach. Here, you will have approximately 30 minutes of free time to swim, sun, or purchase a refreshment from the beach bar.
