Discover Puerto Rico's unspoiled wilderness and natural wonders on this full-day rainforest and bioluminescent bay adventure. Experience two of the island's most remarkable natural attractions: the lush landscapes of El Yunque Rainforest and the magical glow of Laguna Grande's Bioluminescent Bay. El Yunque Rainforest, the only tropical rainforest within the United States National Forest System, is a vibrant paradise filled with breathtaking flora and fauna. Embark on an exciting 25 to 30-minute trek along a dirt and rock trail beneath towering bamboo trees, lush rainforest flowers, and other unique tropical plants. This scenic trail offers an exclusive look at Puerto Rico's ecological wonders, leading to a majestic waterfall pool where you can take a refreshing dip in crystal-clear waters that reflect dazzling shades of blue. Following your rainforest adventure, enjoy free time for lunch at a local restaurant (meal cost not included) before continuing to the evening portion of your tour. As night falls, prepare for an unforgettable experience as you kayak through mystical mangrove channels on your way to Laguna Grande's Bioluminescent Bay. Get ready to encounter Pyrodinium bahamense, remarkable microscopic organisms that glow like tiny stars when disturbed. During this 1.5 to 2-hour kayaking experience, you'll learn about the bay's delicate ecosystem while witnessing one of nature's most extraordinary displays.
