Travel through the Pyrenees on a memorable day trip from Barcelona, crossing Spain, France, and Andorra by air-conditioned minibus. Along the way, explore a medieval Catalan village, browse French specialties, take in mountain views, and enjoy free time in Andorra la Vella. Meet your guide at the Explore Catalunya office in Barcelona and set off for Baga, Spain. Spend approximately 45 minutes exploring the medieval village with your guide, including its main square and medieval church. You'll also have time to stop for coffee or pick up something from a local bakery at your own expense. Continue across the border into France and stop at Carrefour in Ur for approximately 20-25 minutes. Browse the supermarket for French products, including cheeses, pates, wines, and other local specialties. Then travel to La Tour de Carol (Latour-de-Carol), where you'll spend approximately 30 minutes as your guide shares the area's history and introduces you to Catalunya Nord. The journey continues through the Pyrenees toward Andorra. The tour normally follows the mountain road over Port d'Envalira rather than going through the tunnel. Weather and road conditions permitting, you'll pause briefly at the pass, 2,408 meters above sea level, to enjoy the mountain scenery and take photos. In Andorra la Vella, enjoy approximately two hours of free time to explore the capital, have lunch at your own expense, or browse its duty-free shops. Afterward, travel through Andorra and cross back into Spain for the return journey to Barcelona. The route and timing may vary with traffic, weather, and road conditions, particularly around Port d'Envalira. Please Note: Guests are required to bring a valid passport on the day of the tour. Guests who do not bring their passport will not be able to join the tour, as all passports are checked at each border crossing. Guests are also responsible for making sure they have the necessary visas to travel to each country (if applicable).
