Experience overview

Our certified guide will meet up with you and escort you to a top-notch tour transport vehicle. Your first stop will be the Bodrum Castle, also known as the Castle of St. John. Perched on a rocky peninsula, the castle is a splendid sight with its five imposing towers and a collection of ancient coins and jewelry. You'll also get to explore the secret museum in the Snake Tower and witness the world's oldest known shipwrecks at the renowned Bodrum Museum of Underwater Archaeology, which sits within its walls. Next, we'll transport you to another era at the Ancient Theater of Halicarnassus. This theatre dating back to the 4th century BC once hosted 5,000 spectators, bringing to life the grandeur of the past. Our journey continues to Myndos Gate, the only surviving entrance of ancient Halicarnassus built by King Mausolus, before we visit the site of one of the ancient world's seven wonders, the iconic Mausoleum. Although it was destroyed in an earthquake, the ruins still paint a vivid picture of its original splendor. We wind up our adventure at the famous windmills of Bodrum. Dating back to the 18th century, these stone and wooden structures offer an exquisite view of the harbor below. Here, you'll have excellent photo opportunities to remember your journey by. Enjoy at least one hour of free time for shopping and lunch in the City Center, where you can soak in the vibrant local culture at your own pace. This excursion provides an unrivaled blend of ancient history, remarkable architecture, and stunning landscapes, all neatly folded into a day you'll remember forever. Reserve your spot today. Please note: The mausoleum is closed on Mondays.
