Continue with a short sightseeing along the famous Promenade de la Croisette (Avenue of the Little Cross), a prominent road that stretches along the shore of the Mediterranean Sea. Both luxury hotels and very exclusive shops line this elegant promenade, bordered by palm trees and gardens. This is the brand image of Cannes. Surrounded by the pavement of fame where hand prints of famous movie stars are immortalized, lies the "Palais des Festivals," home of the prestigious Film Festival, taking place every year in May. Time at leisure to shop on the Rue d'Antibes, the main shopping area in town, will be taken before your guide leads you back to the pier.
