Experience overview
Embark on an enthralling voyage along the Great Glen, absorbing the allure of the Scottish Highlands. Your adventure commences with a scenic journey along the Great Glen, an impressive geological fault line extending from the Atlantic to the North Sea. Our first encounter is Urquhart Castle, a fortress with an 800-year legacy. Wonder at the stories of battles, rival clans, royal intrigue, and the castle's stronghold on the Loch Ness's banks. What's more, you'll hear enchanting tales of the legendary Loch Ness Monster, or Nessie, a Scottish staple you must experience. Capture the perfect photo memory as we pause at the picturesque lakeside. We'll then meander back to Invergordon, offering soothing lunchtime relaxation, ample photo moments, tales, highland cows on display, and a shopping splurge. Our journey resumes with a trip to the revered Culloden battlefield, meticulously revived to mirror its tragic ambiance in April 1746. It's here where Scotland's fate was sealed in a momentous clash. We'll wrap up our exploration with a visit to the prehistoric Clava Cairns, a 4000-year-old burial site steeped in mystery and fame from its Outlander series cameo. Whether you're a history aficionado, a seasoned explorer, or an Outlander fanatic, this private Scottish highlights tour reveals the compelling narratives and enchanting sights of the Scottish Highlands. This unforgettable shore excursion from the port of Invergordon stirs the imagination and fires up the Instagram feed. Don't miss out on this unique, leisurely paced experience.
