Experience overview
Your journey starts as you meet up with your expert escort in the port's terminal for a scenic, 1-hour drive to Pisa and the beloved Piazza Dei Miracoli. Arrival in Pisa will be at the Pietrasantina car park. Walk along the ancient city walls up to Porta Santa Maria for a dazzling overview of white marble and green grass, then head down into the Piazza to explore the landmarks. With your expert escort, you will be sure to see all the highlights this amazing square has to offer. Tour the Cathedral with its granite colonnades, religious statues, and splendid architecture. The Baptistry will delight you with its interesting mix of Gothic and Romanesque styles, topped with a statue of John the Baptist. And of course, no visit to Pisa would be complete without seeing the Leaning Tower! This tower has a vertical tilt of 4 degrees, giving it the impression of falling down. You will have approximately 3 hours of free time in Pisa to enjoy a little ice cream or relax with a view that is second to none. Conclude your tour and meet back up with your escort at the prearranged time for your return. Departure from Pisa will be from the Pietrasantina car park, and you will arrive back in La Spezia, in front of the Cruise Terminal (Largo Michele Fiorillo), in approximately 1 hour.
