Explore authentic cruise-port experiences, review tour conditions, and request a reservation. Supplier confirmation is required.
Experience overview
This tour includes an excursion vehicle with an English-speaking guide, and is offered on a full-day (8 hours) basis between the hours of 8:00am and 6:00pm. For programs outside of that time, an additional supplement applies. Vehicles are air-conditioned and include a designated driver. Guests are not permitted to operate the vehicle. Private vehicle bookings do not include entrance fees, meals, parking fees or tolls, refreshments or gratuities. The type of vehicle used will be determined by the number of guests booked for the tour. The guide and driver will occupy the front seats. Groups of 2 passengers will be accommodated by car, groups of up to 12 passengers will be accommodated by minivan, and groups of up to 44 passengers will be accommodated by bus. Please Note: All of our St. Petersburg tours are operated by authorized guides, and you therefore do not need to secure an independent visa in order to participate in this tour. However, in order to book this tour, you must provide us with full names, dates of birth, nationality, and passport numbers for each tour participant so that our guides can secure the proper tour visas on your behalf. The visa is only valid for the time you are with your St. Petersburg tour guide. If you wish to explore St. Petersburg on your own outside of this tour, you will need to secure an independent visa. This tour includes a private driver and vehicle, and does not have a set itinerary so that you may plan your own day. There is no set itinerary; guests are responsible for securing their own attraction tickets for the day of the tour. Some tickets may sell out and may not always be available on the day of the tour. Most museums and palaces including the Hermitage & Peterhof (Monday), Catherine's Palace (Tuesday), St Isaac's, Peter and Paul Fortress, and Spilled Blood (Wednesday), are closed one day of the week, as well as additional days throughout the season (holidays, certain days during the last week of the month. etc.) It is the guest's responsibility to book this service on a day when the sites you wish to see are open, and for the duration required to see them. SEG does not monitor opening days, dates or times and cannot be held responsible for guests booking this service when sites are not available. Please be aware that cruise lines occasionally mislead passengers by telling them that they are not allowed to disembark the ship in St. Petersburg unless they are on an excursion purchased through the cruise line. In addition, the cruise lines also sometimes tell passengers that they cannot disembark the ship until the passengers on the cruise lines' excursions have done so first. This is incorrect, and you are free to exit the ship as soon as passengers start to disembark because Russian law states that a cruise ship cannot hold passengers onboard against their will as long as they have the proper documents. In order to clear immigration, you will need to bring along: 1) Your passport; 2) A photocopy of the picture page of your passport; and 3) A copy of your tour tickets. We will provide you with your tour tickets as part of the documents we e-mail to you after you make a tour booking.
