Experience the thrill of surfing at Costa Azul on an active small-group surfing shore excursion from Cabo San Lucas. Designed for cruise guests, this experience combines professional bilingual surf instruction, equipment, transportation, and approximately two hours dedicated to surfing and water activities, allowing you to enjoy one of the most recognized surfing areas in Los Cabos. Your approximately 3-hour shore excursion begins at Plaza Gali, conveniently located a short walk from the Cabo San Lucas cruise tender terminal. From there, travel along the scenic Los Cabos corridor toward Costa Azul in San Jose del Cabo. Once you arrive at the beach, meet your professional surf instructor, get fitted with your equipment, and begin with an onshore safety briefing and introductory lesson. Your instructor will introduce you to essential surfing techniques, including proper body positioning, board control, paddling, standing up, and how to approach and ride a wave. After the beach instruction, head into the water to practice your new skills with your instructor. The surf experience includes approximately 2 hours of instruction and water time, including the beach briefing, with guidance adjusted to each participant's experience level and the day's surf conditions. Surfboards and rash guards are provided, along with bottled water and a light snack. With an approximate 1-to-3 instructor-to-surfer ratio, you'll benefit from more personalized instruction and guidance throughout your surfing experience. After your Costa Azul surf lesson, change into dry clothing and relax during the return transportation to Plaza Gali in Cabo San Lucas, where your shore excursion concludes. The approximately 3-hour total duration includes transportation to and from Plaza Gali, equipment setup, the safety briefing, surf instruction, water activities, and transitions throughout the experience.
