Private Tigre Delta & River Cruise

Experience overview

Cruise the Tigre Delta for a unique view of Buenos Aires. This tour includes private round trip transportation. Your transition from the bustling urban atmosphere into tranquility begins with a short drive along Del Libertador Avenue. Narrow roads lead through upscale neighborhoods with luxury homes and yacht clubs. A visit will be made to the French-built neogothic San Isidro Cathedral. Built in the 19th century at an imposing 233 feet, it's reminiscent of a Harry Potter set. A short hop later, you'll arrive at the island town of Tigre, named by the British after the jaguars that roamed there during the 1800s. There you will join a local shared boat tour through a complex series of channels leading to remote islands that have recently become fashionable destinations. For more than 100 years, rich bohemians from Buenos Aires traveled the same green labyrinth of streams to spend their weekends away from the Beunos Aires crowds. The Victorian docks, boating clubs, and English gardens will show you that little has changed since the 1920s. This is the perfect Buenos Aires tour for those who want to relax and enjoy the quiet beauty of the city's lesser known parts. Enjoy the perk of private roundtrip transportation to and from the tour with this special booking.
