Experience overview
Your journey takes you to Magallanes Forest Reserve, a unique place to close to the city offering rare views and combination of ocean views and breathtaking panorama of Punta Arenas City. During the summer months, this area transforms into a haven for hikers, providing access to Patagonian native forests adorned with coigues, lengas, and nirres. Wildlife enthusiasts can spot hares, foxes, and local birds along the way. You will want to bring along your camera to grab some photos in the best spots. At the conclusion of your walk, take a moment to relax and soak in the tranquility of this captivating landscape before returning to the pier. To fully enjoy this excursion, please wear comfortable walking shoes. Given the unpredictable weather, we recommend dressing in warm, layered clothing, with an outer layer that is waterproof and windproof. Please Note: This tour is an uphill hike and conditions on the trail may vary due to weather.
